Innovations for the future

VEMAG ANLAGENBAU presented a selection of innovative products on the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne from 20-23 March 2018. Interested visitors gained insight into the company’s latest technologies.

Whether the theme is boiling, cooling, pasteurizing, smoking, maturing, drying or thawing, the manufacturer provided a range of information in its showroom: virtually and in the form of physical examples.

Visitors to the trade fair booth were able to appreciate the quality and diversity of all-rounder AEROMAT. “This system is the ideal complete solution for a variety of processes, including drying, hot and cold smoking, boiling and baking as well as roasting,” said Head of Sales Andreas Kurowski. “With regard to the exhibition guiding theme “resource efficiency” we were able to impress even the greatest sceptics with our effective and economic EcoCon heat recovery system!” New products such as an automated forward / backward transport system as well as the next generation MICROMAT TP1200 control based on S7-1500 technology were also on display.

Another attractive eye-catcher was without a doubt the CLIMAMAT STAR HIGH CUBE. This system is the most efficient way for maturing, smoking and storing air-dried meat and salami products in very high racks. At the trade fair booth, a 5-metre-high rack attracted visitor attention from afar. “This solution is highly compact and also delivers perfect product uniformity due to an innovative air distribution. Considerable savings in personnel costs due to full automation is also a major customer benefit,” explained Kurowski.

The top innovation on display in the new, large trade fair booth (over 260 sqm) was CLIMAMAT STAR CROSS – the perfect solution for uniform smoking, maturing, drying or thawing densely stacked, lying products. Moving ducts supply all layers evenly and systematically with air.

"Our modern booth concept in hall 6 proved a complete success,” said President Timo Krüger. “We had many interesting conversations and were able to generate new business contacts and concrete enquiries.”
